Privacy Policy for Telemetry

Telemetry is a light meter app that reads exposure data from your device's camera.

Data Collection

Telemetry does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Specifically:

• Camera access: Telemetry uses your device's camera solely to read real-time exposure telemetry (ISO, shutter speed, aperture) for calculating light readings. No photos or video are captured, saved, or transmitted anywhere. Camera data is processed entirely on your device and is never stored or sent off it.
• No accounts: Telemetry does not require or support user accounts, logins, or profiles.
• No analytics or tracking: Telemetry does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
• No data sharing: Since no data is collected, none is shared with any third party.

Data Storage

Telemetry does not store any user data, on your device or elsewhere. All exposure calculations happen in memory while the app is open and are discarded when you close it.

Children's Privacy

Telemetry does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, an updated version will be posted at this same URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
